What No One Told Me About Riding a Camel

My grace and dignity flew out of the proverbial window because I didn’t know two key things when mounting a camel.

I believe the cameleer that enticed me to experience something out of the ordinary most likely lived for the spectacle because I wasn’t told to lean backwards when the camel raises its rear end first. Then, lean forward when the camel rises up on its front legs. You’ll naturally be inclined to do this in reverse and if you do, you may very well kiss the camel on the way down to the dirt. Good luck stifling the squeal.
