Truva Turkish Kitchen in ATL: Best Kebab I’ve Ever Had

by Jan Schroder

“This kebab is better than the ones I had in Turkey,” my son declared. High praise considering he ate his weight in kebabs there.

We were dining at Truva Turkish Kitchen, a welcome addition to the ethnic dining scene in Atlanta. Truva features Mediterranean cuisine with cold meze like hummus, grape leaves and tabbouleh while hot meze choices include Truva dumplings, zucchini pancakes and grilled octopus. Entrees include grilled kebabs, short ribs, lamp chops, scallops and whole bronzini. Truva also serves sandwiches on its lunch menu.

Muzo Saritas owns the restaurant and Turkish-born Sehmus Gultekin is the executive chef.
