Sage Offutt: Navarre Beach’s Teen Entrepreneur

by Jan Schroder
Sage Offutt

It’s a familiar entrepreneur story: with a vision and a small loan from her parents, Sage Offutt started a business. The unusual part? She was just 11 years old when she founded the company in 2013.

Still a teenager, Sage is the CEO of the successful Sage Paddle Company in Navarre Beach, Florida, where she rents paddleboards, kayaks, bikes and scooters to visitors.

Sage’s family moved to Navarre Beach after her father left his successful corporate career. Now he and her mom work with the business and they all pitched in to paint the green-and-purple business headquarters.
