Nostalgic Hollywood Christmas in Medina, Ohio

“You’ll shoot your eye out, kid,” flashed through my mind as I flew down the two-story slide – a replica from the classic “A Christmas Story” at Castle Noel. This entertainment attraction is open year-round, located in the Victorian-style town of Medina, Ohio.

I couldn’t help but get nostalgic amid thousands of authentic props and costumes from holiday classics such as “Elf,” “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” and “The Grinch.”

Colorful animated window displays bring past window dressings from NYC stores, such as Macy’s and Bloomingdales, back to life. There’s plenty more to do at Castle Noel where it’s Christmas every day.
